Lowe's Heroes Project for Peanuts Park & Pasco Farmers Market
September 2012 - One of Pasco's great assets received a dearly needed beautification project this fall. Peanuts Park and the Pasco Farmers Market were chosen to be the recipients of a Lowe's Heroes Project. The project was completed over the course of September 10-12, 2012 - just in time for Downtown Pasco's Viva Pasco! event.
The project involved more than a dozen Lowe's employees who generously volunteered their time to the project.
Over the course of the project, the Lowe's staff pressure-washed the park area, repaired the wooden benches and trash can enclosures, applied color stain to the fountain and other concrete walls, touched up paint on a wall damaged by graffiti, as well as completely cleaned and refreshed the park's planter beds including new bark, soil, flowers, plants, and trees.
The before & after photos are available as a PDF document below. For more photos (before, during and after the project), check out our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/DowntownPasco.
